YSRC wins four RS seats from AP unanimously

The ruling YSR Congress nominees were elected unanimously to four vacant Rajya Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh state on Friday. No other candidate filed nominations for these RS seats.

Vijayasai Reddy, R Krishnaniah, Beeda Mastan, and Niranjan Reddy were the newly elected members.

Returning officer Subba Reddy presented declaration certificates to these four candidates. Later, the four members met chief minister Jaganmohan Reddy and thanked him.

Jaganmohan Reddy congratulated the new MPs and advised them to work for the interests of the AP through the Parliament interventions and by other means.

Vijaysai said he will work to fulfill the Chief Minister’s aspirations, discharge party duties, and follow its policies in line with the state interests.

Ryaga Krishnaiah said the Chief Minister is promoting the interests of the BCs in all fields including in jobs, education, and politics by giving them a proportionate share of the population.

Beeda Mastan thanked the CM Jagan and said he gave many chances to the people of backward classes.
