BJP Chief JP Nadda to Sound Poll Bugle in Kangra on April 22

Himachal Pradesh Polls: BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) chief JP Nadda is set to hold a roadshow followed by a rally in election-bound Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district on 22nd April.

Kangra has the highest number of assembly seats in the state (15) and the roadshow has been touted as an act of sounding the poll bugle. Out of 15 constituencies, the BJP had won 11 in the previous election.

AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) chief Arvind Kejriwal will also be addressing a rally in the same district on 23rd April.

AAP’s Himachal Pradesh chief Anoop Kesari, general secretary (organization) Satish Thakur, and its Una president Iqbal Singh joined the BJP at Nadda’s residence in Delhi, with union minister Anurag Thakur being seen as the architect of this coup.

This is going to be the second campaign of BJP president Nadda in his home state in April.

According to sources, JP Nadda will land at Gaggal airport and will start his roadshow of one KM to Nagrota Bazaar. The procession will go to Gandi groud and here he will address a rally.

Later on the same day, the BJP chief is likely to meet senior party leader Shanta Kumar.

Himachal Pradesh is going to witness the assembly elections for 68 constituencies by the end of this year.
