Plan B(engal): BJP, RSS Leaders Meet in Delhi

A group of top leaders of the BJP (Bharatiya Janat Party) from West Bengal and selected RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) functionaries met in the Delhi on Tuesday to chalk out a roadmap for strengthening the party for the upcoming Lok Sabha and assembly elections in the TMC (Trinamool Congress) ruled state.

The meeting though termed routine by some of the attendees, assumes significance as BJP and RSS affiliates have decided to work more strategically to ensure the organization gets strengthened in the state.

Last week, BJP president JP Nadda visited Bengal, and state unit chief Sukanta Majumdar and other leaders met him on Thursday morning.

According to sources, the BJP has decided to train the next generation so that it can carry forward the work of the party effectively. The party is also eyeing the Youngsters.

The source also added, “The communists and TMC had ruled the universities for a long. Students began accepting the ABVP despite strong resistance from the government. We hope to work among students and open their minds to other ideas and ideologies as well”.

The Bengal BJP cadre seems energized by the frequent visits of the top leadership.
