The Amit Shah-chaired meeting of the heads of southern states resolved 40 of the 51 pending issues, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister made this announcement at a press conference after holding a meeting with Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal, and other leaders of the BJP-controlled states.
Mr. Amit Shah, the current President of the BJP and former member of the Indian government led by PM Modi, chaired a delegation-level meeting with chief ministers from four southern states to discuss important matters such as improving law and order in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry.
