Later, he asks the crowd, “Are you happy with our action on the mafia?” The crowd says yes. Gradually the bulldozer has become the poll mascot for Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP).

Adityanath says the pice demolished and attached illegal property worth 1848 Crore INR in the state.

BJ leaders often mention Mukhtar Ansari, Azam Khan, and Ateeq Ahmad in their speeches. Currently, all these three are in jail. The BJP is representing a bulldozer to showcase its achievements in developing infrastructure as well as improved aw and order in the state.

The Samajwadi Party says the BJP is just highlighting the names in order to hide its misdeeds. SP senior leader Udaveer Singh said, “They are picking some names in order to prove their point. It is just that they do not have anything positive to talk about. The bulldozers have been used to crush the poor people”.
