YSRCP president and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday set party leaders the target of winning more than 151 seats in the 2024 elections.
The Chief Minister said that the YSRCP government was not fighting only TDP (Telugu Desam Party) leader N. Chandrababu Naidu but also the united evil power including some sections of the media.
Speaking at a YSRCP meeting with ministers, legislators, district unit party presidents, regional coordinators, and leaders, Jagan Mohan Reddy instructed them to mingle with the people and inform them of the YSRCP government’s welfare and development activities.
YS Jagan directed the party cadre to take up door-to-door campaigning from May to brief the people on the implementation of government schemes and development activities.
CM Jagan pointed out that the government has met the 95% of its 2019 poll promises and credited more than 1.37 lakh crore through direct benefit transfer without any corruption. He said that all the district in-charges, regional coordinators, and ministers must take responsibility and work for the party development by coordinating at the ground level.
The CM said that the main intention behind these programs was to inform the people that the promises were met and good initiatives have been taken up in the last three years.
